Omantel launches data centre in Salalah<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Omani telco, Omantel, has launched a new data centre in Dhofar, Salalah. In recent years, investment into the area has significantly grown. With Salalah Free Zone and the numerous tax exemption and FDI incentives alongside Dhofar\u2019s strategic location for technology investments, the Dhofar Governorate has become an area of pivotal importance. In recent years Omantel has worked on several strategic projects in the Sultanate, attracting global investments north of $150Mn, one being the SN1 data centre in partnership with Equinix.
