Vodafone Qatar Partners with Nokia for Nationwide 5G Network Modernisation<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Vodafone Qatar has signed an agreement with Nokia to lead a nationwide network modernisation, aiming to deliver faster, more secure, and agile 5G services across the country. This initiative will enhance network capacity, reduce latency, and introduce automation and advanced security features, preparing the network for future digital innovations. The collaboration supports Qatar\u2019s growing ICT sector, projected to expand at 8.5% annually through 2030, and aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030. Using Nokia\u2019s end-to-end technology and multi-cloud core solutions, Vodafone Qatar will improve both consumer and enterprise services, including advanced fibre, mobile, and 5G slicing capabilities. UAE<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

While initial reports about the project were released earlier this month, the companies behind the UAE\u2013US AI campus have now shared further details. The consortium, which includes G42, Cisco, Nvidia, Oracle, SoftBank Group, and OpenAI, has announced the launch of Stargate UAE, a next-generation AI infrastructure cluster that will operate within the newly established 5GW UAE\u2013US AI campus in Abu Dhabi.<\/p>\n

Stargate UAE, a 1GW compute cluster, will be built by G42, operated by OpenAI and Oracle, and will house Nvidia\u2019s latest Grace Blackwell GB300 systems. This marks the first partnership under OpenAI for Countries, a new global initiative aimed at helping international governments build sovereign AI capabilities in coordination with the US government.<\/p>\n
