Khazna to adopt biofuel for generators

The UAE data centre firm Khazna is to adopt biofuel to power its backup generators. As part of a pilot project, Khazna will blend biofuel with traditional diesel fuel and monitor performance before intending to implement biofuel across all of its data centres. Read more…

UAE’s Phoenix Group to launch IPO on Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange

Founded in 2017, Phoenix is an Abu Dhabi-based blockchain and crypto solutions company and aims to float its IPO on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange. It will be the first privately owned crypto and blockchain entity to be listed on a Middle East stock market. Read more…

Bahrain EDB attracts $295million in ICT investment

Bahrain Economic Development Board has attracted US$295 million in direct investments within the ICT sector as part of a total projected direct investment worth US$1.4 billion, during the first nine months of 2023. Stemming from 14 local and international projects, the direct investments for the ICT sector, are expected to generate over 1,600 jobs within three years. Read more…
