ICS Arabia breaks ground on 187MW Desert Dragon Project

ICS Arabia, in partnership with Shanghai Lummington and China Mobile International, has begun construction of the first facility in its 187MW Desert Dragon project in KSA. The project involves the building of multiple data centre facilities in three phases: the first is a 65MW facility in Riyadh (2026), the second is a 50MW facility in Jeddah (2026), and a final 72MW addition in the cities of Dammam and Neom. The total investment in the project across the next three years will be approximately $1.9bn and the facilities will offer unparalleled cooling technologies as well as services such as cloud and AI, with rack capacities ranging from 2kW to 100kW…Read more

Intro Technology and Oman Data Park sign $450mn MoU to build a data centre in Egypt

Data centre provider Oman Data Park and Intro Technology, the technology arm of Intro Holding, have entered a deal to see a $450mn data centre built in Egypt within the Suez Canal Economic Zone. The new facility, dubbed the Kemet Data Centre, will span 80,000 sq/m and will leverage Egypt’s advanced infrastructure and position as a key regional hub…Read more
