Equinix to invest over $100 million in new Dubai data centre

The new IBX facility will be known as DX3, and will be Equnix’s largest in the region. With 1,800 cabinets of capacity across two phases and a footprint of 12,000 square meters, DX3 is planned to support the rapid growth of AI capabilities. Hyundai UAE unveils AI smart taxi concept

The Hyundai Sonata Smart Taxi was showcased at the Abu Dhabi Smart City Summit. The taxi is equipped with advanced AI technology and streaming services. KT, Hyundai E&C and stc group sign 50-year digital infrastructure partnership in KSA

The MoU will see the combination of KT’s digital transformation capabilities with Hyundai E&C’s smart construction and construction capabilities, along with stc group’s network infrastructure. Kuwait’s Hayat signs $48.4mln service deal with UAE’s Du

Kuwait-based Hayat Communications has said it has signed a contract worth around $48.4 million with the UAE’s Du to support its services in the emirates. It said the three-year contract covers the company’s entire infrastructure, including mobile and fixed-line assets, the fiber optic network, and data centres. Read more…
