Batelco and e& sign MoU for new sub-sea cable

Telecom giants Batelco and e& have announced plans to land the Al Khaleej sub-sea cable system in the UAE. This 1,400Km-long cable, connecting the UAE to Bharain, Oman, and Qatar, will branch off the already established SEA-ME-WE 6 system that connects Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Western Europe.
