The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and Masdar have achieved financial closure on the 1.8GW sixth phase of the UAE solar park, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. With production capacity set to double by 2026, the 20km\/sq. park will power over 500,000 homes and reduce carbon emissions by 2.36 million tonnes annually.
